Committees

IMAA Committees drive the association. Anywhere from ten to forty members volunteer to participate in each committee, keeping the association focused on what the membership needs and anticipating what the members want.

Committee meetings are perfect times to meet new people or catch up with your peers. But don’t think that we won’t put you to work! IMAA committee meetings provide members with an opportunity to work together on industry issues or projects for the betterment of the Indiana aggregates industry as a whole. From planning the Annual Winter Workshops seminars to educating teachers at the BLAST Institute, or working with government agencies to affect change, our committee members supply the foundation for relevant programs, services, and events.

The Indiana Aglime Council members are producers of aglime throughout the state of Indiana. The purpose of the Council is to promote the use of aglime by farmers throughout the state of Indiana and surrounding states. This is achieved through a statewide ad campaign, direct mail, and exhibits at various farm-related shows. Additionally, the Aglime Council is a source of unbiased, reliable test results on the quality of aglime produced by member companies.

Membership in the council is limited to Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association (IMAA) producer members who pay a membership fee to join the Aglime Council.
