Bidding Farewell to INRoadCon2020, Looking to 2021
Many thanks to the participants, planners and sponsors of INRoadCon20 in San Juan, Puerto Rico last week. This convention was four years in the making – scheduled for 2018, but interrupted by Hurricane Maria. We think our patience was well-rewarded.
Participants used their time in San Juan to network, tackle the issue of disaster preparedness and emergency response, explore the rain forest, take in a round of golf or two at world famous courses, fine tune their non-verbal communications skills and give back to the island that has seen its share of troubles lately. From the opulent Sponsors’ Gala (where the guys grumbled about their jackets, and the ladies were STUNNING) to chocolate grilled cheese sandwiches (you wouldn’t think this works, but it does) to the service project that saw Hoosiers rehabbing a camp to house volunteers heading out for additional service projects, there was something for everyone. As one participant said, “I have attended several conventions in the past. This was one of the great ones.” Here’s a glimpse at the week’s activities.
Finally, we’re happy to announce the dates and location for INRoadCon21, scheduled for Feb. 12-19, 2021 at the Marriott Resort St. Kitts – The Royal Beach Casino.
