Doug Lozier Hired as New IMAA Program Services Coordinator
“IMAA is pleased to announce that Doug Lozier will be joining the IMAA staff as the new Program Services Coordinator on November 11,” says IMAA Executive Director Calvin Lee. Current Program Services Coordinator, Ron Bucci, will be retiring from his ESC duties at the end of 2019.
Doug Lozier recently retired as a Corporate Environmental Compliance Manager for companies of The Heritage Group involved with asphalt, aggregates, and petroleum products. A native of Warsaw, Indiana, he is a 1974 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture specializing in horticulture and agriculture business management.
While with US Aggregates, Doug served the IMAA Environmental Committee for about 20 years, chairing it 2011-2013. He was a director on the Environmental Stewardship Council for 12 years before passing that role to others in 2016. Doug has attended at least 20 Winter Workshops and presented at several of them in the environmental breakout sessions.
“IMAA is fortunate that Doug brings direct experience and involvement to the position from a variety of industry perspectives,” says Mr. Lee. “This will benefit the members and the association greatly.”
Doug is a 43-year life member of the Carmel Lions Club, a life member of the Purdue Alumni Association, and a former firefighter/EMT. Doug resides in Carmel with his wife, Kathy. They have one daughter, Steffannie, and a granddaughter, Katie.
