IMAA Annual Fundraiser Golf Outing Drew Record Numbers

IMAA Staff | 11/01/24

On Wednesday, September 11, at Eagle Creek Golf Club near Indianapolis, a record 260 IMAA members, volunteers, guests and staff came together to enjoy the largest IMAA Fundraiser Golf Outing in more than 10 years!

The event officially began with a moment of silence, after asking Veterans, Members of the Military, and First Responders to join us on the putting green. The National Anthem followed this moment of silence.

On the Sycamore Course, the winning team comprised 1. Larry Simons 2. Adam Doyle 3. Josh O’Brien 4. Michael Meyer. The team that won on the Pines Course included 1. Mark Strader 2. Jason Swanbeck 3. Guy Salisbury 4. Blake Salisbury

Proceeds from this annual Golf Outing help support IMAA Public Information & Education (PIE) outreach programs and the Indiana Mining and Mineral Education Program (IMMEP). This year’s event raised a little more than $40,000 for our outreach activities.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, volunteers, and golfers for helping us plan and implement another great golf outing!
