IMAA Safety Training Moves Online!
Starting in 2021, IMAA will be offering MSHA Part 46 8-hour Annual Refresher Training as a live, online interactive class. The classes will be conducted by MSHA certified instructor, Ron Bucci, and hosted through Zoom.

Benefits of Virtual Annual Refresher Training:
- Keep travel to a minimum! Watch and participate in the training from your own location.
- Exposure to various guest speakers! IMAA will bring in industry experts to present on safety related topics.
- Smaller groups = better discussions! Have more meaningful discussions about safety at your locations as they watch with a group of fellow employees.
- Flexible scheduling! IMAA is scheduling at least 1 (usually 2) live online Annual Refresher Classes each week January through March. Pick the class that best fits your schedule.
- Staying safe. We are keeping both our members’ safety and our instructors’ safety top-of-mind during these uncertain times. Staying safe is the bottom line, and we want to be part of the solution to satisfy the Part 46 Annual Refresher requirements. Online safety training provides the flexibility to determine your own group size and to view and participate from your own location with your existing COVID-19 guidelines.
Pricing:
LIVE VIRTUAL ANNUAL REFRESHER LICENSE
Location License = $950 (IMAA Member) / $1050 (Non-member)
- Includes login information for one location. You can purchase multiple location licenses to view the training at different locations.
- Includes unlimited number of individuals at that location for the live class. Please observe any COVID-19 recommendations and follow the location’s guidelines.
- Includes Part 46.8 Training Plan update document specific to virtual/online training and Part 46.8 Training Record certificate customized for the date of training. Certificate to be signed by the company/location representative responsible for health & safety training under the company’s Part 46 training plan.
- Includes full 8 hours of training content from instructor Ron Bucci to satisfy Part 46 training requirements.
Individual License = $125 (IMAA Member) / $175 (Non-member)
- Includes login information for one student.
- Includes full 8 hours of training content from instructor Ron Bucci to satisfy Part 46 training requirements.
- Includes Part 46.8 Training Plan update document specific to virtual/online training and Part 46.8 Training Record certificate customized for the date of training.
- Student’s certificate MUST be signed by the company representative responsible for health & safety training under the company’s Part 46 training plan.
