IMAA Updates Safety Training Fee Schedule for 2020
IMAA offers MSHA certified safety training to both members and non-members throughout the year. Safety trainings are either scheduled for Open Enrollment on predetermined dates at the IMAA office for both annual refresher classes or new miner classes, or scheduled on an as-need basis through a custom class at the requesting company’s site. Open Enrollment classes are priced per person and custom on-site classes are priced per day.
The updated 2020 IMAA Safety Training Rates are listed below, and effective for all trainings that occurred after January 1, 2020.
Open Enrollment Rates:
| 8-Hour Annual Refresher Surface Part 46 MSHA Safety Training = $125 per person *Add Underground Part 48(A & B) Refresher for $25 per person |
| 24-Hour New Miner Surface Part 46 and Part 48(B) MSHA Safety Training = $375 per person |
| 8-Hour Annual Refresher Surface Part 46 MSHA Safety Training = $175 per person *Add Underground Part 48(A & B) Refresher for $25 per person |
| 24-Hour New Miner Surface Part 46 and Part 48(B) MSHA Safety Training = $525 per person |

IMAA also offers Training Plan Development for those that need and MSHA training plan. Training plan development is custom to the company, and the current rate is $150 per company.
