VCNA Prairie Aggregates’ Kim Grose Awarded 2020 President’s Award

IMAA Staff | 04/30/21

Each year the Association undertakes numerous projects and activities for the benefit of its member companies. Staff and volunteers from the membership conduct these projects and activities.  This year, IMAA 2020 Board President John Schmidt of US Aggregates presented the IMAA President’s Award to an individual who is an invaluable resource to the Association.  The 2020 President’s Distinguished Service Award winner is Kim Grose of VCNA Prairie Aggregates.

Kim has been active in the Association for many years. She sits on several IMAA committees, including the PIE Committee, the Professional Development Committee, and the WLMA Committee. Kim is never afraid to voice her thoughts and opinions during committee meetings, and will be one of the first to volunteer to help with new projects or programs. However, she never asks to be in the spotlight. She humbly accepts her volunteer work, and you can depend on Kim to get things done or connect you to the right person.

Kim has played an integral role in supporting the BLAST Institute for teachers, the PIE Golf Outing, the Junior Achievement Job Spark initiative, putting on the WLMA Workshops, leading Scout workshops and raising funds for IMMEP. For almost any IMAA activity where you need volunteers, Kim will be there with a smile and what seems to be her catchphrase: “Just tell me what you need me to do.”

Congratulations to Kim, and thank you for your enthusiastic support of the Association.
