Washington DC Fly-In with Build Indiana Council
On May 14, a group of IMAA members joined the contingent of BIC Members on their annual Fly In to Capital Hill. Members were fortunate to have the opportunity to visit with key legislators, and other Indiana delegates to spread the word about Indiana’s financial needs as they relate to road funding.
One highlight of the trip was BIC offered a scholarship to a worthy IMAA future leader to accompany us on the trip and get better acquainted with the overall legislative process. Excellence In Leadership participant Quirin Gauck from Harrison Sand and Gravel was the benefactor this year.
The trip was a major success.
