Winter Workshops Will Be Here Before We Know It
Save the date now for our 2024 Winter Workshops, to be held at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis from Monday, February 5, through Wednesday, February 7.
Each year, the IMAA Committees work hard to secure an exciting lineup of speakers and presentations for the IMAA Winter Workshops. We design the Workshop Sessions to educate everyone — from sales professionals, to QC technicians, to owners and CEOs, to safety and environmental managers, and everyone in between.
The IMAA Operations Seminar will take place all day on Monday, February 5. It will focus on quality control, the importance of material handlers to a quality product, and best practices for plant personnel in training their materials handlers. From the compelling education provided by the sessions, attendees will walk away with practical tips and best practices they can implement at their sites.
While final plans are still underway, the lineup of topics and potential topics for the Winter Workshops Tuesday, February 6, and Wednesday, February 7, includes:
Keynote Presentation
Our Keynote presenter will be Tom Jalics, CFA — Managing Director, Chief Investment Strategist, and Senior Vice President at Fifth Third Private Bank. Jalics will be speaking on the topic of Economic Outlook.
As Chief Investment Strategist for Fith Third, Jalics is responsible for leading the bank’s Investment Management Group asset allocation process — both strategic and tactical — which informs Fifth Third management of the $40-plus billion in assets under management (AUM) at the bank.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Jalics provides internal and external communication on the economy and the markets, making public speaking and media appearances on behalf of the bank. He is a sought-after industry expert and commentator, having been frequently quoted in the media, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business News, The Economist, and Reuters. Jalics has also appeared on television and radio, including Bloomberg (Television, Radio, and Business News), CNBC, and CBS Radio Chicago. We are looking forward to his thoughts on the outlook for our economy in 2024 and beyond.
