Deadline Extended for Submission of IMAA Awards
Are you working diligently on submitting your Excellence in Mining packet for 2022? Do you have someone in mind who deserves recognition as IMAA Miner of the Year? The submission deadline for the annual IMAA Awards has been extended to December 30, 2022.
Each year, IMAA awards individuals, companies, and mine sites that have gone above and beyond industry standards in safety, in environmental, in community relations, or all of the above. IMAA wants to recognize members accomplishments in the company of their peers, and there is no better time or place than the annual Winter Workshops.
The award nominations and applications submitted by December 30, 2022 are for the calendar year 2022. The winners will be recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the 2023 Winter Workshops & Trade Show on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
What awards can I, my site, or my company apply for?
IMAA has both Company Awards and Individual Awards. Companies and individual sites can apply for the Excellence in Mining Awards, Community Connection Award, Transportation Company of the Year Award or Associate Company of the Year Award. Individuals can be nominated by their peers for the Miner of the Year Award, IMAA Valor Award, or the Trucker of the Year Award.
